Shoe Find #6

Okay!!! This is a great one. A posh shoe find OUTSIDE MY HOUSE!!!
Hyde Park, Leeds again.. Soon not to be my house anymore.
Today, Thursday 14th May 09.
It's still there if you need to claim..

I recon it belongs to some big shot who parks outside on the street every weekday clogging up the road sides from 8-6pm for everyone else.. Bah.

Even in my dreams I see shoes..

I had a dream last night that I saw quite a few shoes in the street, including some dangling off a motorway bridge, in my dream I got out my dslr and started to take photographs, but it had no batteries in, so I got out my compact instead. (Always have a backup, even in dreams)
I was very much looking forward to uploading them this morning.... :(

Shoe Find #5

Grantham, Almapark area ..
My sister took these photos, of some pink trainers on the street telephone wires... Oh dear.
It looks pretty high up, so I applaud the accuracy of the thrower, whoever that may be..
Thanks Amanda :)

Shoe Find #3 & #4

This is how 'cool' Hyde Park is..

Chestnut Avenue, Hyde Park, Leeds.
I have nothing too much to say about this find.. Stupid student-ville activities..
With Easter over, students are coming back to Hyde Park in twos, probably on a fucking boat..
Yippieyay. Safe to say, if you have lost this particular pair of footwear, it's probably best to get a new pair, if you haven't already..

Also, my friend Diana spotted this shoe in the road (21.34pm on 27/02/09, outside 'the wok mania' corner of harold walk/thornville street) It's the most creative use for an abandoned shoe I have seen... Donated image below by Diana :)
Innit.

Shoe Find #2

Okay, another shoe. A trainer this time. Another in Leeds, the old international swimming pool.
A black trainer. Not too far from syringes and other dark shit.
A rubbish photo, I was too busy looking out for where I was standing.

If you are the person who has lost this shoe, please don't come anywhere near me..

Shoe Find #1

Today, not in London, but in Leeds, somewhere on a dirt track near Woodhouse. There was another one nearby.. What makes people loose/take off/forget their shoes? This finding was a bit weird as it might have been a dark story..
Well, if these are your shoes.. They are here, a bit chewed and wrecked, but if you still would like them..

Mainly a London lifes look at from now. Manifesto of sorts..

We always find pairs of shoes laying in the street in London.
This will be a little bit of space dedicated to this phenomenon..
Pictures of shoes with the location and date if possible so if the owners of the shoes come across this text, they may be able to trace back their steps (!)..

Also, to all the funny things I see and document..

Also, any fun places to laugh at or just to go to for the experience..

ERmm.. Probably just a space for me to look back at observations and laugh. *Hello me.*

This Photo below was one I took today of one of those charity pet food bins that you see in supermarkets.. This one was in Morrisons (kirkstall road) in Leeds.. (not London).

Made me and Marco laugh....

That's all for now.
More funnies (for me atleast) will be added as I find them..
O_o
